The customizable mapping kits also allow for the fusion of GNSS or ground control points to produce geo-referenced point clouds as well as IMU data for enhanced undistortion abilities to produce crisp point cloud scans. For customers that operate in both GNSS-available and GNSS-denied areas, the ability to work in both environments allows for shorter mapping times as users would not need to make multiple mapping rounds to address the risk of drift and noise in the point cloud data.<\/p>\n These mapping kits are also equipped with an easy-to-use user interface that will allow inputting of ground control points and map handling features such as point cloud merging.
