Kudan pursues the vision of becoming “the eyes of every machine,” advancing spatial perception that leads the development of Physical AI. Our technologies provide the foundation for machines to understand, act, and learn within the real world—capabilities we believe are essential for Physical AI to permeate society and for robots and digital twins to operate in a highly integrated manner.
Physical AI extends intelligence from the digital domain into the physical world, enabling machines to function safely and autonomously. At its core lies spatial perception: understanding the world in 3D, detecting continuous change, and determining optimal actions. By deeply focusing on this domain, Kudan is building the technological base that enables robotics and digital twins to become central components of future social systems.
We view robotics and digital twins not simply as tools for efficiency but as transformative forces that will reshape industries and society. Robotics driven by spatial intelligence can address urgent societal needs such as labor shortages, safety improvements, and mobility in aging societies. Daiu Ko
Mr. Ko graduated from the Faculty of Engineering, the University of Tokyo in 2007 and earned his Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Graduate School of Engineering, the University of Tokyo in 2009. He began his career at Toyota Motor Corporation in 2009 and joined McKinsey & Company’s Tokyo Office in 2014. Mr. Ko joined Kudan Inc. in 2016 and was appointed Director and Chief Operating Officer (COO) in 2017. Since 2020, he has served as CEO of Artisense Corporation and Representative Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kudan Inc.

Tomo Ohno
Mr. Ohno graduated from the Faculty of Business Administration, Yokohama National University in 1993. He began his career at Andersen Consulting Tokyo (currently Accenture Japan Ltd.) and later transferred to Andersen Consulting UK (currently Accenture UK). He joined SN Systems Limited (UK) in 2002 and was appointed President of SN Systems Co., Ltd. in 2005. In the same year, he established Zen United Limited (UK), serving as Director. Mr. Ohno founded Kudan Limited in 2011 and has served as Representative Director since its inception. He also founded Kudan Inc. in 2014 and continues to serve as its Representative Director (current).

Tian Hao
Mr. Hao graduated from the Faculty of Engineering, Hokkaido University in 2008 and earned his Master’s Degree in Electronic Information Engineering from the Graduate School of Information Science and Technology, the University of Tokyo in 2010. He began his professional career at Ericsson Japan K.K. (formerly Nippon Ericsson K.K.) in 2010. Mr. Hao joined Kudan Inc. in 2021, was appointed Executive Officer and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) in 2022, and has served as Director and Chief Operating Officer (COO) since 2023.

Yusuke Shibata
Mr. Shibata began his career at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu (currently Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu LLC) in 2005. In 2010, he was seconded to Nomura Securities Co., Ltd., where he gained extensive experience in finance and capital markets. He joined Evolable Asia Corp. (now AirTrip Corp.) in 2015 as Director and CFO, and later served as Representative Director and CFO from 2019. Since 2020, he has held the position of President and CFO of AirTrip Corp. Mr. Misawa began his career at Daiwa Securities Co. Ltd. in 1989. He was appointed President and Representative Director of D-Brain Securities Co., Ltd. in 1997 and later joined transcosmos inc. in 1999, where he served as Senior Executive Managing Director and CFO from 2004. In 2006, he founded Co-Creation Partners Co., Ltd., where he continues to serve as Representative Director. Mr. Misawa has also held several external board and auditor positions, including Outside Corporate Auditor of Frontier International Inc. (current) and Outside Director and Audit and Supervisory Committee Member of JIG-SAW Inc. (current). He was appointed Outside Director of Kudan Inc. in 2015 and continues to serve as Outside Director and Audit and Supervisory Committee Member (current).

Mr. Oguri began his career at Toshiba Corporation in 1992. He joined Takeda Minoru Law Office in 2001 and later Jones Day Tokyo in 2010. In 2012, he joined Uchida & Samejima Law Firm (currently Uchida & Samejima Law Office) and became a Partner in 2014, a position he continues to hold. Mr. Oguri was appointed Outside Corporate Auditor of Kudan Inc. in 2017 and currently serves as Outside Director and Audit and Supervisory Committee Member.
